Advocacy Day at the Capital

Join your American Society of Landscape Architects, Georgia Chapter friends and professional colleagues for a morning in Atlanta advocating for the Landscape Architecture profession.

This year, we will also be asking our legislators for the adoption of a bill updating our Licensure Laws to the CLARB/ASLA Uniform Licensure Standards! https://www.clarb.org/home/about-clarb/key-initiatives/uniform-standard .

We’ll host a ‘Pass By’ Chick -Fil- A breakfast with State Legislators and Committee Members, receive a brief tour of the capitol, and participate in ‘walking the ropes’ for anyone who is interested in talking with their representatives (our lobbyist will help you!).

Whether you are a seasoned advocate or new to meeting with state legislators, all experience levels are welcome! As a Landscape Architecture professional only you have the ability to tell your story and advocate for what’s important to our profession.

This event is FREE for all Landscape Architect professionals and students in Georgia, ASLA membership not required, and all lobbying materials and food will be provided.
